How to install MSV DLL files

  1. Download msv.zip to a floppy
  2. Open a dos shell by Selecting START, PROGRAMS, MS-DOS PROMPT
  3. Type (set) and press ENTER. A list of environment setting will appear
  4. Look for the statement JOBS_PATH=x:\jobs5. NOTE what drive letter x is. EX. JOBS_PATH=c:\jobs5
  5. Type (x:) and press ENTER. Ex. (c:)
  6. Type (cd\jobs5\bin) and press ENTER.
  7. If everything was done correctly so far, the prompt should be (x:\jobs5\bin). Ex(c:\jobs5\bin)
  8. Type (pkunzip a:msv) and press ENTER.
  9. This will extract 3 files.
  10. When finished type (exit) and press ENTER.
  11. You may now run the Jobs application.
